We are pleased to present in this section the first six student-focused resources to emerge from the TLRI-funded project ‘Teaching and learning in the supervision of Māori doctoral students’. The series, entitled 'He rautaki mo te akoranga kairangi' (Strategies for doctoral study) will also be produced as a series of pamphlets that showcases helpful observations, insights and advice from those we interviewed (current and ex-doctoral students and experienced supervisors) on many different aspects of being a doctoral student, from deciding to undertake such advanced study to actually doing it. More publications in this series will be forthcoming later in 2010.
